John Milton's "Paradise Lost" as Drama, Part 9

John Milton's Paradise Lost as Drama, Part 9

At the climax of the drama, after the Son's judgment (pronounced by Michael in the epic), Adam first quarrels fiercely with Eve, blaming her for their misfortunes. Then, as often throughout the epic, Eve takes the initiative, now seeking reconciliation, and the two work out a resolution accepting their new fallen state, as Milton suggests all must do with knowledge of the Fallen World we live in.
